I applied online. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Pittsburgh, PA) in Nov 2020
Interview
Overall, the interviewers were very friendly and personable people. However, what really made this process a negative experience was the sheer amount of time required to speak with everyone at seemingly every different level.
The initial interview was a phone call with an in house recruiter that lasted around 15 minutes. This was followed by 3 days of interviews lasting 45minutes to an hour with (in no particular order):
-The previous person in the role.
-The manager
-The manager's manager
-Department manager
-Department director
I get it, you're looking to find a team member who will really fit. But please be cognizant of the interviewee's time. Especially for an entry/mid-tier role, this was excessive.
Word to the wise, unless you're unemployed or have some PTO to burn, be prepared for a drawn-out and inefficient process. Even if Thermo didn't schedule each hour-long conversation 2 hours apart from each other it would be much better.

Question 1
Hoe zorg je ervoor dat je de klant en hun behoeften goed begrijpt?
It took a long time to set up all the interviews and finally get an answer. The recruiter was hard to get a response from so that I could coordinate the interviews with my current schedule.
Very lengthy, but we’re friendly and have a sense of ownership in 2 weeks post joining 3 rounds - Phone, 2 Video Phone call is with HR Video with mangers Another video call with HR and management
