I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Singapore) in May 2021
Interview
Was first called by HR/recruiter for some initial screening. HR/recruiter asked about salary expectations, availability to start work etc. The HR/recruiter was quite unprofessional, she put me on speaker when she called and laughed it off after realising I was on the line.
They set me up for an interview with 2 team members that I will be working closely with if I accepted the job. The whole interview took about 45 minutes, with about 10 to 15 minutes just having a casual and awkward conversation while we were waiting for 1 more member to join the virtual interview, who did not show up in the end despite dragging the interview duration. The 2 team members were alright but I could see that they were smirking while typing on their keyboards as though they were having a private conversation on their own.
I was told that I would be set up for a 2nd interview to speak with the team member/manager who did not show up for the interview. I felt that even though they already knew that I wasn't a good fit for this role, they shouldn't have told me about setting up a 2nd interview, just be honest with it so we can close it on a good note. I received no replies from the HR/recruiter after the 1st interview regarding the rejection and was just left hanging there.
Got really bad vibes from this company and I feel that this should be improved if you don't want to turn other applicants off.

I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Allschwil) in Mar 2023
Interview
3 interviews (2 online, 1 on site), no feedback received and finally after 2 months I received a rejection email. No answer form HR when I asked for an update. This was not professional, only waste of time. The interviews went well, lots of interesting questions.
