I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at This Is Alice in Aug 2021
Interview
Overall it was a great experience, and the team seemed nice. Communication was great in terms of the next steps.
A few things I noticed during the interview process:
1. They don't have a sales team. The onboarding team does the selling of the product.
2. The pay was a bit too low given my location, experience, and skills.
3. I'm unsure if they are a software company or offer service only. Seems like they do a lot of manual processing.
4. No real hard business growth goals or plans.
5. The take-home assignment was for a customer support manager role; however, the role I applied to and interviewed for was a customer operations role handling the admin backend stuff. It seems like the questions and job descriptions were for different positions.
6. The interview process was too long! I did about 4 video interviews, a take-home project, and the application questions.

Interview
I applied for this company back in the beginning of the year and they sent me an email in August asking me to do a project for them before I even had my first interview. Their hiring process seems a bit messy which is a red flag for me.

Question 1
They sent over a word document with six example customer questions that I had to answer.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at This Is Alice (Fort Collins, CO) in Aug 2021
Interview
My interview process (if it can be called that) was just…odd. I had two 15 minute conversations with two different people and then was sent a take home test which was inexplicable garbage. The test gave no background information to utilize in order to answer questions…so my answers had a lot of guesses and assumptions. I was not given an offer because my answers “didn’t align with their growth strategy” - which I guess I was just supposed to know or guess perfectly? From the interviews, I gleaned an important detail about this company: there is no technical product. The customer ops team just manually processes things. I was not sure I wanted to join and I’m glad it did not work out!
