Applied for a Senior Experience Designer role advertised as remote, but during the recruiter call, I learned it actually required 3 days a week in the office. The recruiter laughed about how long the process was, which felt unprofessional - clearer communication and a streamlined process would have been better.
The interview process is :
1. Recruiter call, 2. Portfolio presentation, 3. Live design task (spec work, unpaid), 4. Combined leadership & culture interview
When I asked about the type of projects I'd work on, the recruiter declined to answer. Overall, the lack of transparency and the time required don't make this a company I'd recommend.
