Interview process was awfully bad!! Especially coming from HR to HR!!!!
There seems to be lack of communications and/or disconnect between Talent and HR. I was messed around on two separate occasions.
The first one, the feedback lacks of human touch, its too generic and feels like going back in the 80/90s . I have requested for a constructive feedback…. with no reply! Maybe the hiring manager is homophobic given her questions only relates to the internal Thoughtworks issues around lgbtq+?!
And the second occasion, this is when a talent partner approached me on LinkedIn for an HR role and asked me is I would be interested for a chat, and arranged a call for two weeks later. On the day/time of the call, she called for less than a minute, just to tell me the role has been “filled.” And then… today 12th October the company posted this role on LinkedIn….
My Basic Advice: Candidate experience needs to improve! HR/Talent needs to go back to basic and look at you own internal processes! Put yourself in the candidate position! You should be leading by example!
