Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tidio (Wrocław) in Mar 2022
Interview
First thing I noticed - Sylwia, who was a HR representative responsible for the hire, was insanely knowledgeable about the product and tech. Big, pleasant surprise. This also meant there were no redundant questions about HTML5 or CSS3 (do you know them?).
Then followed an interview with a tech lead. More of a. loose, culture fit kind of a discussion. Really pleasant, really interesting.
Programming task was simple, but offered ways to be creative and professional. It was also reviewed very quickly.
Technical interview was demanding, but also a pleasant surprise - people responsible for the questions and tasks were really creative in finding interesting and pragmatic ways of giving a broader framework to questions that would be otherwise redundant.
Overall, this was the most pleasant, professional, creative and swift hiring process I had the pleasure to be in. Big ups.
The entire recruitment process was conducted very professionally. From the initial interview, during which the recruiter was spreading positive energy, to the technical meeting, for which both developers were well-prepared, and finally to the interview with the engineering manager, with whom the meeting could have been described as a lively discussion rather than a rigorous job interview. I was guided through each step with care.
Overall, in my experience it was the best handled recruitment process I have ever participated in.
