My experience with the interview process was deeply disappointing and genuinely felt exploitative. Communication was consistently slow and unclear from the very beginning. After my initial interview, I was asked to come in for a completely unpaid trial day, with the promise that I would hear back the next day. Instead, I received no update, only a last minute request for three additional unpaid design tasks.
Despite completing everything they asked for, I did not receive even a basic acknowledgement that my work had been received. It has now been weeks without any update, courtesy email, or any sign of professional respect for the time I put in.
The entire process gave the impression that the company places very little value on candidates’ time, effort, or boundaries, and treats unpaid work as something applicants should simply accept. It felt like a complete waste of time and energy.
I left the process feeling misled, undervalued, and frustrated. If you are considering applying, be prepared for a disorganised process and to give a great deal without any guarantee you will receive so much as a reply.
