I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Toast Inc (Boston, MA) in July 2016
Interview
It was long and had to meet multiple staff. First had a phone screening, a few days later I was called in to meet with the department managers. The process wasn't lengthy at all, hopefully this helps.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Toast Inc in June 2024
Interview
What a horrible and unprofessional company. Received a rejection THREE MONTHS after making contact with them where it claims my application "popped over a little too late." Um, no, Toast, your rejection is a "little too late." Further, these disgusting clowns have the audacity to write in their rejection, "In the meantime, challah* at us if there’s another role that piques your interest."
Challah? Really? I know this is a company that works with restaurants, but how absurdly stupid and unprofessional are they to try and be cutesy punsters in a rejection email? Hey, news flash, Toast: people are looking for jobs. They're hurting. And when you send a rejection THREE MONTHS LATER with this junk, it's beyond offensive. As a Jewish person, I am repulsed and will be reporting them to Greenhouse and the ADL.
On behalf of all job seekers: learn to not suck so hard, okay?
