The interview process was really good. Since the first time I talked with Aaron, the talent acquisition I was treated very well, at the beginning he asked me about what I was looking for and he explain to me the role that they had opened. The next round was a technical interview. The interviewers were very nice, I was really nervous and they help me to keep calm. This assessment involves array methods, i.e. map(), filter(), reduce(), and object methods entries() and a little part of JSX and CSS as well. This interview was not difficult, you have to be as calm as possible and try to explain what you are going to do and if you struggle with it they will help you. The second round was divided into 3 interviews, with different interviewers and different questions, I can't give more details as I signed NDA. All the people who interviewed me were very kind and very nice. I didn't pass this interview because I was a bit rusty and I struggle a bit with my English, I am not a native English speaker. I think most of the interview was not difficult but needed to secure my knowledge about some stuff. They called me to tell me that I didn't have passed the interview but they give me a lot of feedback, which helps me a lot. I had a positive experience and I really saw myself working for Toast. I like their business focus and culture a lot. Maybe next time.
