I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TopRank Marketing (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2025
Interview
Recruiter strings you along stating how great of a fit you are, how uncompetitive the position is, and how excited they are to meet you, and to expect next steps in a couple of days. Then they instead send you a rejection email out of the blue. Great process, super two-way street to get to know each other. That's sarcasm, of course.

Question 1
Can we keep your resume on file in case this doesn't work out?
We understand it’s disappointing when a hiring decision doesn’t go your way. This particular role received over 700 applications, which made the process highly competitive and occasionally lengthened our response times.
We strive to communicate with every applicant as promptly and transparently as possible, and we appreciate your time and interest in the position.
We also keep resumes on file for future opportunities—particularly for copywriting and content creation roles, which we frequently look to support.
Very friendly! The interview went a little over as I had some extra questions and they were willing to answer everything I asked. The position was focused on b2b brands and had some combination of two roles, but they were able to explain it fully.

Multiple steps, but they mostly happened in one day which I appreciated. Everyone seemed very interested and invested in the hiring process. Spoke to company leadership during the half-day long process.
