The hiring process here is very smooth and pain-free. The recruiters are extremely friendly and go out of their way to keep you informed and feeling comfortable. I had a 30 minute phone interview and was asked some basic questions including a little about myself, my goals, why I wanted to work for TransPac. I was then scheduled for a Skype interview and was told I would need to teach a maneuver and brief an IFR flight and an approach plate.
The Skype interview lasted about an hour and included myself teaching a maneuver on the whiteboard, as well as answering some basic aerodynamics questions and scenario questions about the IFR flight I was given and the approach plate. Finally, I was asked a few more standard interview questions such as why I wanted to work there and why they should hire me.
I received a call later that day congratulating me and was offered the job. I accepted and filled out the paperwork. Probably the best interview experience I’ve ever had.
