I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Transamerica (Brea, CA) in Apr 2013
Interview
Group presentation - of how the financial resources cycle and as the baby boomers start to retire and need to shift their retirement savings around it is time to be on the ground floor and recruit these baby boomers into investing their retirement funds with Transamerica AKA WFG as Transamerica partners up with all other financial services companies as some sort of Financial Services brokerage firm for all other insurance service providers. They wanted me to pay $100.00 to Transamerica that day to become a group partner within it's organization.

Question 1
Can you study for and obtain your Series 6 and or 7 license as soon as possible, at my own cost of course (within the next 30 days) to be eligible to start selling their financial services to it's customers.
Someone reached out to me on LinkedIn and we set up an interview with no application process. One of these commission-based, no-experience-required things. That guy and his mentor talked to me for an hour with a whole presentation, and it ended with an offer to become one of their clients if not an advisor.
Very calm, and easy. They just want to get to know you at first. It isn’t as much as an interview as it is a conversation to see if that want to take the next step

Question 1
Tell me about your background and why you chose to apply to Transamerica
Get an insight of the business, learn about the structure, and compensation potential. It may be for some people but I’m still deciding if it’s for me. It was very reminiscent to a mlm structure so that kind of made me second guess if it was something I wanted to do but it may be for someone.
