      Engineering - Frontend Engineer Interview

      22 July 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tray.ai

      Interview

      - Initial internal recruiter interview, open to questions about the role - General interview with Manager for general background - Take home assignment, suggested spending at most 4 hours - 1.5 hour tech interview, open ended All in all felt like a waste of time only to be told after 4 rounds of interviews, near the end that they decided to they would promote within, and rehire for the other position. Is that not something a company should have considered or discussed 2 interviews in? After what I assume would have been several candidates? I then discovered they reposted the same job word-for-word hours later.
