Overall a really bad experience and I'm so happy I didn't start working for them...
I was approached by the HR manager who called me and invited me for an interview there. I was able to pass both stages and was invited to a final interview at the nursery.
I went there and the HR Manager gave me 2 tasks to complete. I was given enough time to complete everything.
However, the computer they gave me was not working and the manager left and went to have a meeting while I was there.
The whole experience was very stressful since the computer was not working and the HR manager was not there. I could tell that she didn't prepare anything for me and I was left on my own. I was lucky that 2 girls in the office were very kind and they both helped me with the computer issue.
Long story short after a few days the HR manager called me and gave me an offer. I was very honest with her and told her that I was looking for more flexibility ( at least 1 day to work from home) and also a salary increase since she didn't even mention the salary during the whole recruitment process. After that, she said that she would discuss my queries with the CEO.
Well, she ghosted me for 5 days, I called the office many times and left her messages. I also sent her a few emails and she never got back to me. In the end, I sent an email, asking for an update and saying that is okay if they offered the position to someone else. Surprisingly she replied that they were withdrawing the offer and she thanked me for my time. For what? For the fact that I wanted to work from home. I mean come on, it's 2024.
I was very disappointed that I wasted my time. However, I'm extremely happy that I don't get to work with them. The higher management seems extremely toxic and no flexibility is given to the employees.
I wouldn't recommend them and as far as I can see there are a lot of bad reviews online about this employer.
