I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Trellix in Oct 2025
Interview
*BEWARE* You may be wasting your time!
This was a multi-step process that involved an initial CTF technical challenge and live technical assessment with members of the team. Due to the volume of applications and usage of ChatGPT for a majority of applicants, the process is quite simple. Unfortunately, after speaking with the manager and team lead, it was apparent that their job requirements are not accurate and they are seeking a unicorn. I was asked questions that did not pertain to the role itself, which was a red flag! It is sad to say that I wasted almost a month for each step and responses from the hiring team. I was actually interest in supporting their cause and aiding in detection measures. Oh well, good luck to them!

Interview
Recruiter reached out and we had our initial getting to know call. Then I was given a take home (24H) Android CTF to solve, which I did. Technical interview involved a round of live reverse engineering task.
