I went through a 4-stage interview process over the course of one month: an online test, a call with Talent Acquisition, an interview with the Hiring Manager, and a final interview with the Director of Growth.
The interviews themselves were positive and the people I spoke with were professional and engaging. However, the overall process was poorly managed in terms of communication and timelines. Response times between stages were inconsistent and the final rejection came via a generic automated email with no feedback, sent on a public holiday — after a month-long process and four interview stages.
For candidates investing significant time and energy into a process this long, a minimum of personalized feedback or a more respectful closing would be expected. Would encourage the recruiting team to improve candidate communication, especially at later stages.
