I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at US Army Corps of Engineers (Los Angeles, CA) in Dec 2024
Interview
Applied through government web portal which involved completing a large amount of documents. I was then selected among a handful of candidates and given a date to interview. The interview involved a multi-panel of engineers in a variety of civil engineering disciplines. Each member asked about 2 questions each and I was afforded the opportunity to ask questions back.
I applied online. I interviewed at US Army Corps of Engineers (Mobile, AL)
Interview
Very structured. Can only ask you questions and is not allowed to reword or revise how they ask the questions. Generally 4-6 people interviewing you. Supervisors, senior level coworker, and HR were in the room.
Two interviews, one over phone, one in person. Process took some time, but was at the beginning of the pandemic, so... Great, easy going group, supportive and understanding, that is common with hydrology interviews.
