Was a long process. Had to do a social media check before securing the interview and then took another week or two before finally being able to attend the interview.
At the interview, I had to give a 20 minute mini-teach session to a group of students. Sadly getting anything out of them in terms of engagement was minimal despite my best efforts.
All in all, I waited 3/4 weeks for a response back as to how I fared in my interview. I had to send a chase up interview after not hearing anything back. All in all, it was a long process and one I wish had been quicker.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you promote diversity and inclusion in the classroom?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at USP College (South Benfleet, England) in July 2024
Interview
An in person interview with a panel of two. The manager of the admissions department and someone from Human Resources. It was my first in person interview since the pandemic. The reason the interview is getting a negative review is because I have had no feedback since attending the interview. I was told I would hear the outcome by a certain date but did not even get a thanks but no thanks email. I found this quite ironic as one of the main threads of the interview was a high standard of customer service when they can’t be bothered to send an email

Question 1
How would you ensure you gave a high level of customer service
I applied online. I interviewed at USP College (South Benfleet, England) in May 2024
Interview
Interview went pretty smoothly, general questions about safeguarding and how you would deal with different situations. Was told I’d find out a week later regardless. I heard nothing. Chased up the recruitment contact I had been dealing with a month later for feedback but they never responded.
