I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at United Airlines in Apr 2016
Interview
Video Interview- I have to say how pleased I have been with the ease of the application process thus far. I'm still in the very early stages; however, there haven't been any long delays. I'm thankful for that especially.
Now for the video interview. I researched United Airlines online. Their site has a plethora of information! That information wasn't specifically beneficial during the video interview; however, it solidified my desire to pursue a position with United. I also read a few reviews on this site, and am pleased to say that after doing so, I felt confident and comfortable. Prior to signing on to the interview site, I practiced a few responses on my tablet! This allowed me to see how my surroundings and I would look and sound for the actual video. I'm thankful I did, because I needed to position my seat at a different angle and change the lighting. I also made use of the practice questions prior to beginning the interview.
The interview was relatively short consisting of 5 questions. Most of these can be found on this site. You'll have 30 seconds to think about your response then three minutes to respond.
Besides the information previously stated, I would definitely calm yourself before the recording. When they say, "be yourself", that's so true! Don't overdo the practice. Have a general answer in mind. I LOVE that, in the introduction, they tell you that they're not looking for the perfect response just the quality of the answer. You may stumble or pause, that's ok..just continue. Use STAR. Speak clearly and naturally...no rehearsed regurgitation of some prepared response. Show your personality! Let them see why you'd be a good fit and an asset!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions weren't difficult. The difficult part was quickly thinking of your response and presenting it clearly and concisely.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
