      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2016

      Interview

I met with a woman at my school's (OSU) career fair. She gave me a flyer describing the position and told me how to apply online. After my online application I was skipped straight to the final one on one interview. There were originally about 350-400 applicants, the final pool was of 35 and they were hiring 11. I felt like it was a good sign that I was skipped to this step. The final interview was in Chicago and I was flown from Columbus. An HR member called me about the process and scheduled the flight for 2 weeks from the day she called. I was sent an email containing all information. The interview was in Willis Tower and lasted about 30 minutes total. I was told that I would hear back in 10-14 days. After about 16 days I sent an email to the lady who set up my interview. She thanked me for following up and said she would forward my email to the recruiter who could "update me soon." 30 days comes around and I email the lady who set up the interview as well as the interviewer and recruiter for the position. No response. 36 days and I call two of them and leave voicemails. Still no response. Very unprofessional to not even send a rejection email in my opinion. Up to this point the process was clear and pleasant.
