I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in Apr 2015
Interview
You are notified by email for the next step which is a group interview in Houston TX. They give you a number to call which is always busy but keep trying you will get through. They set you up with round trip ticket and hotel is at your own expense. I stayed where the interview took place which cost me $250. Everyone meets in the lobby and at about 8:15am they take you to a large conf room where they show you a PowerPoint about the airline very simple not too much detail. As they are also bring out people in small groups to hand in your resume and meet the HR panel and give you a name tag. You then return to large conf room to wait for 1on1. The 1on1 takes about 10mins and that's where they decide weather you will stay for a 2nd interview or not. EVENTHOUGH THEY TELL YOU EVERYONE GETS AN EMAIL. THATS A LIE. Whoever they choose will get a 2nd interview that same day. Otherwise you are sent to the shuttle that takes you back to the airport to try and catch an earlier flight. If you don't have straight teeth forget about going. If you don't have a suit forget about going and if your hair and makeup are not perfect forget it.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
