I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
After you apply, you may receive an e-mail with an invitation to do a video interview. After that, if they like your responses on the video, you will receive an e-mail with an inivation to an interview. Please know that ALL the questions on Glassdoor are spot on. I studied them for weeks, and I looked like a flight attendant at the interview. There were about 18 of us in the room waiting to be called for the interview. Chat and socialize with the other canidates. They are watching you at all times. I was the 2nd to last person called, and I was very confident. When the woman called my name, I got up and walked towards her, thinking she was going to put her hand out to shake my hand but she did not. I was a little thrown off. She took me into a room where other candiates were also interviewing. She asked me about 5 questions, then said she was going to step out of the room and that she would be back. She then told me to follow her for the next step of my interview. I was excited because I had heard this was a good sign. She then walked me to the hallway, pointed to the crosswalk to catch the bus, and told me I would receive an e-mail. I knew this meant I didn't get it. I was so upset and disappointed, and I felt tricked. Just know that even if you have a great answer for everything and dress/act the part, it may be out of your control at that point. I still don't know why I didn't get it, but remember to always keep your head up!

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
