I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in July 2015
Interview
United chose people for personality and the ability to be a problem solver. The interviewer took each applicant into a room of other one on one interviews. We answered questions about previous jobs that required customer service. I told about solving problems and encouraging my students and parents as a teacher. The outcome of my interview was very positive! I got the job and was the only female out of 10 female applicants. I was surprised as I was 50 years old! I began training in Houston, Texas in two weeks for a six week class. I started my job with United in Chicago immediately after training.

I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
