I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at United Nations (New York, NY) in May 2014
Interview
The first interview is a phone interview, which lasted about 40 mins, the questions are fair and simple, they ask questions such as if you were in a conflict, what would you do to solve that? How do you see yourself in a team? and etc.. The interviewers are nice. In general, it is a good experience. However, they rescheduled twice before the interview
Skill based interview with 3 interviewers. Asking specfic skill based questions of how you responded to situations, to go deeper from your application answears, to share details of how you have gained skills and would contribute to a team, and why you wish to work in this department specifically
It's based on a competency-based interview, and it went well. It was friendly and informative as well. There are a few of general questions and a few of technical questions. Overall, a good experience.
