The scheduling process was quick, with dates offered for the following week.
However, the actual interview experience was unprofessional. I drove in from another state to attend a 40-minute, 2-person panel interview. Upon arrival, the primary coordinator was absent due to departmental short-staffing, and the interviewer leading the panel was visibly disinterested with my responses.
Following the interview, communication completely ceased. I sent two follow-up emails over the course of a month, to the primary contact and to the actual recruiter, and received zero response.
Having a candidate travel across state lines only to provide a distracted interview and total silence afterward shows a severe lack of respect for applicants' time, effort, and resources.
