Interview
Smooth interview process with a recruiter screen, hiring manager interview, team interview and final round with the director. Many questions for behavioral with a focus on how you ramp up on learning new systems, and what your working style is like. The whole process took about 1.5 months with the recruiter providing updates every 1-2 weeks between each interview, so I was kept in the loop.
Recruiter Screening asked to move on to Job fit interviews and had no follow up after I sent an email. They said the process was recruiter screening and job fits and an interview with peer product manager. No mention of a product case or additional assessments.

Interview
The interview had 3 steps. The first was an interview with a member of their hiring team, who asked for basic information about my past experience with a focus on technical skills. The second was an interview with the managing director of the team, who asked me further details about my experience and shared details about the job and expectations. This led to a take home assignment, a simple Pyspark pipeline which had to be completed before the third step. In the third step, I presented my submission, asked to make modifications on a call with other data engineers on their team, as well as give more details about my technical experience and answer SQL questions. Finally, I was told that I would hear back shortly, but never got a response, even after following up.
