VHL Alliance interview questions

I applied online and had a zoom interview with the Executive Director. The initial interview went well however, it was odd to hear that the ED was doing "speed dating" by interviewing candidates for 20-minute intervals back to back. After my interview, I heard back in just over a week with a rejection, with the most bizarre email of the ED congratulating the company for the large amount of applications and the 27 interviews they had. She then went on to talk about how they had to narrow it down from the amazing 27 they initially interviewed to the final 5 and then got to the point that I was not one of them. Out of all the rejection emails I've received, this one was probably the most insensitive and self-congratulatory.
