The interview process was different-- you have to answer multiple math problems and write an essay, which they forget to tell you to bring a calculator. Not to mention, they make you do a personality test to submit with your resume before they even interview you. The owner asks just a few questions, and then she offered a second interview with their Office Manager. The second interview was very informal and was basically just to get a second opinion. It seems everyone in the interview process does not 100% know what exactly the job duties are and they're not on the same page, which made things confusing to me. The job posted states a bunch of duties the marketing coordinator will do, but in the interview, the office manager says the position might be split into two positions (which I'm sure cuts the pay in half) but she wasn't sure, the owner hasn't decided. That left me a little uneasy about the position because I applied to do the job posted, not another job she decided to create at the last minute. I had an interview in the beginning of December and I called one week into January (a month later) to just check the status. The owner didn't return my call. I called again, 4 days later checking the status and to see if the owner got my message, which she did but was too busy and forgot to call me back, which to me shows a great deal of how things work there. She returned my call and said the position hasn't been filled but she will call me back either way. 10 more days go by and still no phone call. Oh well! The interview process was strange to me, this company doesn't offer any benefits, and the owner seems too busy and unorganized. Thankfully, I had another (better) offer and went another route.
