I completed the first round of the interview process for the position at VectorShift and submitted all the required deliverables, including the technical assessment, exactly as requested. I was informed that the next (second) round of interviews would take place three days later, but I have not received any further communication since then.
I followed up by emailing the co-founder, Albert Mao, to inquire about the status of my application, but I have not received a response.
While waiting, I reviewed some candidate feedback on public forums such as Reddit and Glassdoor to understand other applicants’ experiences. On Reddit, there is a thread in which multiple users reported similar patterns — for example, candidates applied and submitted assignments multiple times but did not receive any follow-up communication, and some mentioned that even invitations to GitHub repositories were not acknowledged by the company after submission.
