I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Veracode in Oct 2021
Interview
The first round was a 30 min introduction with someone from HR. The second round was a 1-hour pair programming session with a developer. The third round was half an hour technical screening with an architect. The technical rounds were way too easy for a senior engineer.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Veracode in Sept 2021
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter who set me up with the initial interview as well as the technical interview - both of which I passed. Technical was basic array manipulation but in a pair programming kind of way. I thought it was great and was truly excited thinking that Veracode would be the next step in my career. Little did I know the third round was with a single person who seemed to already have his mind made up for some reason. Despite this, I left the interview very excited thinking that it went really well. Guess not though, because I asked the recruiter for feedback a week later and the text didn’t go through as if he blocked me. No word from Veracode. Weird that for an established company, one person can make such a powerful decision on the third round
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Veracode (Boston, MA) in Jan 2017
Interview
I had a very unpleasant experience. Couple of interviewers were rushing up - not interested to listen. I felt the interviews were conducted for name sake. Recent recruits were nice and friendly. But, long timers had this poker face. You can ask questions with a friendly tone. It was very obvious that they did not like folks who were more experienced. Glad I did not get offer.
I sincerely apologize for your experience while interviewing with us. This feedback is always helpful and will assist us as we continue to streamline our recruitment and interviewing processes.
