Showed up about 10 minutes early for my interview and was informed by the receptionist that managing attorney, who was conducting the interview, had just went into a consultation and would not be available for about half an hour. About 15 minutes after the start time of my interview, I was escorted into his office. He asked a few questions, none of the ones I had prepared for, and then asked me to write a sample email to him, as though I was sending it to a client and asking for these documents to be sent in and this attached document to be signed. He said he would be next door, in his office, if I had any questions. I did the best I could with what little understanding, I had, as I have never worked in a law office and have no immigration law experience. When I sent the email, I went back to his office, which was next door to the cubicle I used, and he had disappeared. He was no longer in his office or in the larger company office. His coworkers saw me standing near his office door, and asked if I needed something and I told them that I did not think the interview was over, but that he had disappeared. The next interviewee came in to the reception area and sat down to wait. A little after this, he came back in, talked to me about two more minutes, having asked me the do you have any questions for me question. Before I had a chance to ask anything, he took a cell phone call and then told me goodbye. I think this was my worst interview yet.
