They are looking for coding monkeys and not genuine researchers. The online live coding test is conducted by the son of one of the founders. Not sure how he got the job other than the fact that he is son. He will lecture you — an accomplished researcher — on how to prepare for the interview. All of this coupled with the fact that they literally pay half of what other firms pay for a similar role and make you sign some ridiculous bond makes it a hard pill to swallow. It’s a shame that some of the best PhDs in the country are abused by these good for nothing nepots while sitting in the US. They are just running a glorified call centre in India.
