I applied directly online. It took over a month to hear back from the recruiting team. I had a 1:1 with the recruiter who described the benefits and the company a bit. I was moved forward to interview with an associate director of clinical operations who focused on 6mo of my experience and questioned me for taking a higher title role with less responsibility. The interviewer asked me vague questions that ultimately set me up for failure in answering in a pointed way. After interviewing I received an automated email declining me. I followed up with the recruiter and asked for feedback and they ghosted me. If you make it to interviewing with a team member that is within the group you’ve directly applied for then the least they could do is provide helpful feedback if requested. I also don’t think focusing on a small portion of one’s carrier can give an interviewer the full perspective as well as asking vague questions that aren’t going to allow for an interviewee to provide thorough answers.
