I applied online. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Pensacola, FL) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was an overall positive experience. It was a group interview, and I got there early, but they didn't start early. When they took us to the back office it started with us introducing ourselves, so I just told them I'm a student and my previous retail experience. Then she got into the questions, showed us around the floor a little bit, and then got into the questions for her section.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
