I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (New York, NY) in June 2014
Interview
I walked in off the street with my application and resume and was screened on the spot by a manager. She then passed it along to the hiring department; I was called in two days later for a group interview. Following the group, I was called the same day for a final interview with the district manager. Overall it was quick and easy compared to other retail stores I've interviewed at.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
