I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Lincoln, NE) in Oct 2013
Interview
Comfortable group interview setting with a casual yet professional interviewer. Only about 5 questions, so they could just get a general feel for who I was. Unimpressed with the other interviewees in my group interview, but the store didn't hire them, so I stand by their choices when it comes to the hiring process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is normally your role as part of a team, and how do you solve problems in a team setting?
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
