I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Vitabiotics (London, England) in July 2023
Interview
It was three parts with a small 30 min intro call with the would be manager, followed by a task which was to be completed and presented back to that manager alongside the team I'd work with and then a final stage was a culture fit check with the CEO and director.
I found that task to be well balanced, challenging in a way that helped me show my analytical and creative side for the role. I enjoyed meeting my would be team and had the chance to ask them questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Task presented an ad winner, which they were looking to take to the next step. Question was:
Build on our current best performer - this [INSERT AD] ad has delivered our [INSERT RESULT] to date.
Why do you think this has been our best performing ad?
What does this tell us about what makes an effective ad?
What three things would you test next to beat this ad’s performance?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vitabiotics (London, England) in July 2020
Interview
Two rounds over Zoom with the manager. Seemed like a nice team and very knowledgeable about the industry. Asked about the involvement of the CEO as reviews on here state heavy micromanagement, read between the lines of his answer which ultimately put me off the position
It was a long dragged out process. I had the 1st and 2nd stage interview 2 weeks apart from each other. Then a week after my second stage the Hiring Manager called me to say that my second stage was successful and they wanted to invite me to a 3rd stage just pending the CEO's availability. She then went completely silent on me for 2 weeks, despite me chasing up on a weekly basis. Only to send me a generic rejection email. I asked for feedback as to why and what changed in that time and yet again she went silent on me. I emailed the recruitment manager only then I got a response. The Hiring Manager has no clue what she is doing and in hindsight I am glad I never got the job. Despicable, appalling and highly unprofessional behaviour. I have been doing recruitment for nearly 10 years now and never have I treated anyone like this during their interview stages or neither have been in a process with a company that treats candidates in this manner.
