I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Vitalacy (Los Angeles, CA) in July 2023
Interview
Phone screening followed by a technical interview. The phone screening was more about what's listed on your resume followed by some conceptual C questions. The technical interview was a practical coding interview on repl. The technical is two parts, a C quiz where you say what you think will be printed from a set of different functions each testing your different knowledge of C. The second part is an embedded practical where you write embedded C code.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Vitalacy (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2018
Interview
Unorganized, slow, nit picky, unsure of what they wanted, unsure of pay range, led by financial backer, didn't understand their potential market, wanted more experience than they were willing to spend

Interview
I had applied through company website. Phone interview was scheduled for 30 - 45mins.
I was asked about basics of Electronics and my projects. Finally, I was asked about experience in Bluetooth, which I didn't have. And was rejected because of no experience. (Resume and cover letter indicated that I am an Entry level candidate)
