Two interviews. One screener with an HR member and then two follow up assignments to complete before a second interview with the direct superior. The interviews felt standard, but I felt like they had already selected a person by the time I received the second interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Voting Rights Lab
Interview
I received an email notifying me that my application was selected to move to Round Two of the hiring process. I was asked to complete an exercise within a day or two that should take about an hour. This is unusual in the legal industry but I was excited for an opportunity to show off my abilities. The exercise was fairly straightforward and easy, and I completed it within the time period and felt confident in my work. I received nearly immediate feedback that they had already selected another candidate.
