I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Waddell & Reed (Costa Mesa, CA) in July 2016
Interview
First round is a group interview. The division administrator (i think) gives an overview of the company and explains what being a financial advisor at W&R is really like.
A few hours later I got an email to complete an online personality assessment called LIMRA. Had to do it twice... I'm guessing they're checking for honesty in the answers. Took me about an hour or two.
Just finished the personality assessment waiting to hear back... I will keep you posted
