I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Waitrose (London, England) in June 2014
Interview
Applied online and process took about 6 weeks.
After applying online i was contacted to arrange an interveiw which took place on the friday; same week. Interveiw was not hard although when they ask questions that youll need to show examples of when youve solved a problem etc try not to onpy base it around work.
Around 4 weeks after they contacted me telling me that i did not get through to the next stage and they advised me to apply somewhere relitavely closer (store was 2 hours away from where i lived). So i guess it was understandable as to why i didnt get the job
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
When have you found yourself in a difficult situation and how did you try to resolve it?
A group interview with others - straightforward questions shared with the group. A one to one interview after this with the section manager - this was also very informal. I was offered the job and accepted.
Good combination of online testing and in person situational questions in store. Testing beforehand had a range of questions including scaled responses and videos. In store questions were more team building
