I applied online. The interview process was all online. The process was very fast (< 1 week). There were three rounds. The first round was with the CSO, it was a general introduction round. The second round was a Python coding round with the CTO and a photonics engineer where they test fundamentals, bug finding questions, code complexity, etc. The last interview was a photonics interview with the CSO and a photonics engineer testing photonics fundamentals. Very smooth process.

Talking about background, coding questions like find the bug in this code, or how would you implement xyz algorithm. Photonics fundamentals like how would you design a pdk, questions about photonics systems and design, actives, packaging.
