Interview
30 minute zoom
1 hour onsite
Very casual with the department heads and CEO. Questions were focused on personality, prioritization of client, team, and company needs and specific experience. Plus they gave me a tour of the shop and what they do.
Very quick process

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Westamerica Communications (Foothill Ranch, CA) in Feb 2014
Interview
Very easy going interview. People are very knowledgeable. I was recommended by a software manufacturer as an expert in the field I was applying to. So they interview was fairly about myself and less about my skill set.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Westamerica Communications
Interview
I interviewed for this job and initially it went well. The person interviewing me was the same person who selected me for the interview, not a hiring manager. He explained the position and I said it sounded great and what I wanted in an entry-level job and I explained how my experience would apply. He then took me on a tour to show me their work and their printing facilities. We sat down again for a few final questions when he was interrupted because his next meeting was sooner than he thought and he abruptly ended the interview about 20 minutes earlier than scheduled. He never brought up salary nor did I have an opportunity to ask. He said there were 7 candidates and he hoped to narrow down to 2 or 3 by the next week. I followed up a few days after he said he would have narrowed down the candidates to which he replied "let's connect next week." He never emailed me so I figured I was one of the few who was not selected for the second interview.
