I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Western Dental Services (Mobile, AL) in Apr 2025
Interview
My interview process was about 15 minutes. Wait time was a little to nothing . Two agents gave me a line of questions and also gave me an opportunity to ask them questions as well.
it was actually not too hard to get an interview. Is a bit nerve wrecking but overall it went good. Make sure to dress professionally and show up early to the interview
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Western Dental Services (Houston, TX) in Aug 2025
Interview
The dental assistant interview process was professional, informative, and well-structured. It typically began with a phone or in-person screening to discuss basic qualifications and availability, followed by a formal interview with the office manager or dentist. During the interview, questions focused on experience with dental procedures, knowledge of sterilization protocols, patient care, and teamwork. Some offices included a working interview or a tour of the clinic to observe daily operations and assess fit with the team. Overall, the process was clear and provided a great opportunity to showcase both technical skills and interpersonal abilities.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the interview, I was asked about my hobbies and what I enjoy doing in my free time. I appreciated this question as it allowed me to share more about myself outside of a professional setting. I explained that I enjoy activities that help me relax and stay balanced, such as reading, spending time outdoors, and staying active. I also mentioned that I value quality time with family and friends, as it helps me maintain a positive and well-rounded outlook, which I believe translates into a better experience for both patients and colleagues in the workplace.
