I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Wheaton, IL) in Oct 2010
Interview
There were two separate interviews. The first was held by their department Asset Manager and the second with the department Manager, influential team members and a person on the store management end. They oromotedhard work, team effort, friendliness with customers. Have some information under your belt because the will ask why you want to work at such a unique place. Be into it and it is strongly advised you have the desire and experience requested.

Question 1
Do you know the difference between natural and organic?
It was a pretty easy process. I applied online, and I believe I got an interview a week or 2 after. I got interviewed by the ATL and the TL, and they asked me questions about my experience.
Fairly easy. Just asked about schedule (what days you can work and if you have any vacations coming up) and if there was any prior experience. Didn’t ask very many difficult questions

Question 1
What days are you available to work? Any vacations coming up?
VERY quick. It was a phone interview and the manager just asked "Why Whole Foods?" I had an answer prepared and he almost cut me off after my first sentence. I don't think he actually cared about my answer.
