Long (6 months +), I had to take a Civil Service Exam at an off site testing location. The exam was not difficult, but the wait after the exam was too long. It took from, maybe October or November of 2010 when I initially took the test to July of 2011 when I got the call for an interview.

Takes a few weeks for the background checks to come through. They’re short staffed so it’s pretty easy to get through if you have the requirements needed to get the interview.
