      Interview

The overall interview process was good. The questions were direct and there was enough time for preparing. It was an online interview. Some questions required a video recording of about 3 minitues.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Wise (Tallinn) in May 2021

      Interview

The overall experience was perfect enough, however, a little bit of time consuming. The process took almost 10 weeks. I applied to the position on 10th of March 2021 (application deadline was 31st of March). They responded to my application on 16th of April mentioning that I have made it to the second round. Second round was an online interview on HireVue consisting of 5 standard behavioral-situational questions to be answered by recording yourself with video. I was supposed to complete it by the end of 23rd April. The system lets you prepare for 30 seconds and then you have 3 minutes to record your answer. But there is not a second trial. If you make a mistake, that's it, done. Right after completion of those questions, there came 16 multiple choice and open questions regarding SQL and Accounting. The time allocated for those 16 depended on the question difficulty. Having completed the second round, next informative email from Wise came to me on 10th of May saying that I have made it to the third round. The third round consisted of an hour long Zoom interview with my potential team lead and a senior financial analyst. It was held on 20th of May (However, the date could have been different as well. It depends on mostly the interviewers avaliability). The questions were mostly based on my education, job experience and the company (Wise) itself. I tried to bring as many examples as possible from real-life situations which I have been exposed to myself. The interviewers expressions kind of told me that I am already selected. They were too kind and did not bomb me with out of topic questions. From technical point of view, as I had already passed home test, there were not many questions. Just one or two regarding SQL and financial statements. Finally, the last round was after 5 days. On 25th of May, I was offered the position by an interview. So, it could be considered both the last round or just an informative call.
