1. 40min Intro chat (motivations for joining, product experience)
2. 1hr Technical/ Team-fit interview (product mindset, work ethic re: tech aspects and close collaboration with technical teams)
3. 1hr Product interview (Product and prioritisation, using data)
Each session was well planned and thought out, and the hiring team were clear on what would be covered and what was expected of me for each stage. I enjoyed talking to the interviewers themselves (they were super friendly).
The only disappointing part came when they sent the "we're not progressing your application further" email.
They said that, based on recent interviews, they'd found candidates they felt were "a better fit for this particular role" (which is obviously fair enough), but when I asked for a bit more specific feedback (i.e. could they share where I scored lower than other candidates - years experience, weakness in a certain area etc), the hiring team said: "Our company policy doesn't allow us to share specific feedback" but they could jump on a call to discuss further.
I said that would be great, and if they could provide any feedback on that call?
Then I just got silence. I expected better from Wise tbh.
