I was interviewed by two different people, separately. One interview took about an hour and the other about ten minutes. It was very casual and friendly. They seemed interested in my skills and told me that the delimiting factor for the second round of interviews was the CEO who was generally out of town, but would be available late the following week. I told them I was actively looking for a job. They told me that I should call them if I got another offer. I sent an immediate thank you email after the interview, another email about one week subsequent to that, and a third a couple of weeks later. All three emails received terse responses until the last email's response that another candidate accepted an offer the week before. There was no "Dear John" email as you might expect after you have interviewed and another candidate was selected. Misleading process and not forthcoming with information re my status as a candidate after their interest at the time of the original interview. It was an unpleasant experience.
