      Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Interview

      4 June 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Woodpecker

      Interview

The process start with automated e-mail send likely to all applicants. Afterwards HR have a short call to inform that there is requirement to prepare company strategy presentation first, Estimated time 10-12h. Not paid. Unusual to have it so early in the process, but we all know people who really want the job - will do things to get it. I would expect that candidates that are asked to do such research and job at this level are seriously considered for the position. However Woodpecker had no decency to even spend 30 minutes to discuss my proposal and interview me (beyond the short call with HR prior the presentation preparation). This is low of the lowest. Probably a way to gather ideas for the extremely inexperienced current "CEO" - Margaret Sikora or others in the executive team. I'm not surprised though, her total career is barely 7 years and she's already holding such position, previously COO. Quite obvious she has no idea what she is doing and need some external ideas. I'll make sure to never cross my ways with this company, their executive team and spread the word about such extremely toxic behaviour.
